My partner Kim has recently suffered a major stroke and has been in the Royal Hallamshire hospitals Neuro Critical Care Unit for four weeks.

Sadly, she lost her fight for life last Sunday 14th July.

The staff at the K1 Ward where Kim was cared for deserve medals for the kindness, professionalism and understanding she and her family received throughout the time she was there.
Treatment was of the absolute first order and, it's with this in mind, that I think NeuroCare, Neurotrust Fund (wardK1) and The Stroke Society should benefit from the kind and generous donations to this page.
I would hope that no one else should have to go through what Kim has been through but if ever there's a need, we ought to make sure that these wonderful services are available to others.
