Sadly my mother was failed by the hospital she was in since 23rd April 2018, they are being investigated due to my mother under their care aquired more infections, sores which made her health worse, she was admitted to the ward eating slightly and walking a little, but in the space of 12weeks, she was slowly starving to death due to no appetite and was being fed by tube. They said her rhumertoid arthritis and severe depression was to blame for her suffering, so our argument is why they did not treat her sooner If they knew what the problem was.She was addmitted to a nursing home middle of july but sadly lost her fight. She was only 76 and probably still had a few years left if they treated her better, Nursing home was brilliant and i cant fault them trying to help my mother, so i would like to give a donation to them as well to say thank you. As my elderly father is struggling with grief and money as my mums life insurance doesn’t cover all the funeral costs, myself and my daughter is helping as much as we can with money and by doing all the flowers ourselves as she trained on a course, but its hard as i have arthritis and cannot work due to poor health, so we would be ever so grateful for any help throuhj this difficult time..thank you
