Weʼve raised £0 to Kind Hearts - "Hear" to Help - Bringing Your Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Groups Together

Closed on Saturday, 20th June 2020

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

    Please help raise £3600 towards:

Your community’s Mental Health and Wellbeing - Kind Hearts - "Hear" to help Initiative for the Public, yes YOU, YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, THEIR FRIENDS & LOVED ONES. NO EXCLUSIONS.

There were 15.94 Suicides averaged daily, 5821 in 2017 (Source:https://www.ons.gov.uk)

We Simply need to Act: Today ! Now ! No Time Like the Present !

Even by donating just £2 this will help increase the awareness and help to provide the access to such vital support information the public need.

Kind Hearts - "Hear" to help - provides leaflet stands which hold 20 different leaflets that revolve around mental health including suicide intervention and wellbeing support groups.

This can help someone whether it’s you or a loved one defeat there mental health breakdown/issues at hand and potentially move forward to well being again, some people don’t get these chances and end up down the wrong paths.

We need to show every each and one of us that mental health and well being is as important as our careers and paths we chose. Please donate towards this good cause and help spread the awareness today.

I have already introduced the First of these stands in the Gainsborough local JD wetherspoons as mentioned below.

The £3600 will produce 60 more display stands nationally, that can hold many more support group leaflets for the public to benefit.

I aim to reach towards a minumum of 1500 national displays as time goes by, so this justgiving page is just a small step in helping our communities.

Please share and build up the awareness and help raise this money to save the people around us today. While you’ve been reading this think about how many people have committed things they cannot take back, taking their lives away due to not having the help they truly need. If you want to find out anymore information please contact myself Graham Swaby who is the one who has put all of this together to create this awareness many of us need.

Our Communities throughout the UK have such wonderful support groups able to help you. But can you name many of them from your area within seconds to someone you love or want to reach out to?

This Display is purposely there for the Public to benefit from. From information on Bereavement, Anxiety, Depression, Social Activity Classes, Peer Link - 1 to 1's, Employability Courses, Volunteering, Drug & Alcohol, Gambling, Counselling, Housing Solutions, and importantly SUICIDE INTERVENTION - Where time is not freely available to say " Lets Talk about this tommorrow" !

It may even be us who need to reach out and seek this vitally important support one day, if not already benefited from the sheer professionalism of the many volunteer services available.

I have presented the 1st Bespoke A5 & DL sized Leaflet Display to a local JD Wetherspoons - To the Wonderful supporting Manager Amanda Fretwell of Sweyn ForkBeard in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.

By Generating a figure of £3600.00 This will provide 60 more displays (inc of Vat) available for other Supportive Companies like JD Wetherspoons whom our public within the Uk can also benefit from such easy access.

Supportive companies can also purchase the displays direct for their venues and make this JustGiving money go further around the UK even more, as I wish for at least 1500 venues to Display the Kind Hearts - "Hear" to Help Units over time.

Any enquiries, please email me at Leaflets@kindhearts-heartohelp.uk

The process is straight forward too.

1: The Display needs a supporting venue to house it (There will be 2 designs available to suit the venue managers choice - Counter top (Seen in Photo) and a wall mount (Thinner in design) to follow.

2: The Staff/Public can contribute to become temporary Mental Health Research Ambassadors. A short researching required to locate, ask about, collect leaflets from their local wonderful support groups and organisations for the Display.

3: (A system will be placed for the support groups to refill the display as needed and to replace the old for the new printed ones) Additionally, Nationally known organisations such as Papyrus, Mind, Addaction etc, will receive the national venue addresses to send such leaflets where applicable also.

We all wish to contribute in helping others, sadly whilst neglecting ourselves at times.

Thank you for your time in reading this, and a huge hug for helping our Public Communities.

Disclaimer: This isn't a charity status - As I am just one person trying to help the other hard working services be noticed and recognised for their excellent support within Mental Health and wellbeing support. Kind Hearts logo has been formed to provide a nationally recognised icon for the public. I have paid £132 (inc Vat) for the 1st Display (This covered: prototype design and vectorising and manufacturing). No profits are gained from this at all either. JustGiving page is only for the display manufacturing costs only - through Trent Plastics (Fabrications) Ltd my chosen choice of professional manufacturer.

    Very Kind Regards
