I'm raising £40000 to To secure permanent buildings for Kingdom Music Academy CIC

We've found it - the perfect home for Sheffield's new music academy. But we need to move fast.
After searching, we've discovered two incredible buildings right next to each other in Sheffield city centre. 7,635 square feet of creative space that could transform music education for young people across our city. The catch? We need £40,000 by mid August or we risk losing them.
Here's what we're up against:
The buildings are available from 1st September, but we need deposits now. Plus, whilst we're confident about getting major grants from Arts Council England and the National Lottery, these things take months to come through. We need a buffer to keep going whilst we wait.
What your £40,000 gets us:
£15,000 deposits to actually secure both buildings
£20,000 to cover rent for our first 4 months
£5,000 for all the setup costs, legal fees, and getting the utilities on
Why these buildings are special:
They're side-by-side (which is incredibly rare), in the perfect location, and honestly, the price is amazing for what we're getting. We're talking about professional recording studios, multiple teaching rooms, performance spaces - everything we need under two closely connected roofs.
The momentum is building:
The letting agency is genuinely keen to see us take on these buildings - they love what we're doing for Sheffield's young people and we have agreements in principle. But at the end of the day, they need to be paid. What's incredible is how excited everyone involved in this project has become. Our architects are buzzing about the creative possibilities, contractors are offering competitive rates because they believe in the vision, and our whole team is working flat out to make this happen. There's real momentum behind Kingdom Music Academy, but we need this final push to turn all that enthusiasm into reality.
What Kingdom Music Academy actually does:
We run completely free music programmes for young people who otherwise couldn't afford professional training. Proper recording studios, industry-standard equipment, qualified teachers, and real commercial experience. No fees, no hidden costs, no barriers.
Why the 4-month buffer matters:
We've learned from other organisations - securing buildings is one thing, but you need breathing room whilst the bigger funding comes through. Grant applications are slow, but landlords want their rent on time every month. This £40,000 doesn't just get us in the door - it means we can focus on building plans and programmes planning instead of panicking about next month's bills.
The honest truth:
These buildings won't wait for us. At £60,000 a year for prime Sheffield city centre space, it's exceptional value that someone else will snap up if we can't move quickly enough.
What happens with your support:
We get our permanent home, begin the refitting and staff training, then launch our first XVI Bars Music Development programme in January and start changing lives. Plus, you'll be part of something genuinely exciting happening in Sheffield's music scene.
Every donation counts - whether it's £10 or £1,000, you're helping build something that'll be here for years to come.
Kingdom Music Academy CIC - because every young person deserves access to professional music education, regardless of their background.
