This fundraising page has been set up to raise money for the community to own, and run, Kingfisher Community Pool in Chard. The money will go towards maintenance, equipment purchase, utility costs and any other associated costs with running a community pool. All monies will be used solely for this purpose. The Business Plan has now been submitted to Somerset County Council, 14th September 2018. If the Business Plan is rejected and the Trustees are unsuccessful in purchasing the pool for the community, all monies raised via this page will be split between Primary Schools to assist with the costs of transport to other pools. change as things progress.

We have over one hundred volunteers (numbers increasing daily) who have offered their time & skills to help us operate a community Big Build to refurbish the pool as much as we can. We will need to show Somerset County Council that we can also afford to operate the pool - in advance of income from users.

Please donate what you can afford, and if you cannot afford to donate then offer your time so we can keep this pool running for the good of the whole community.
