Kingstonian Cricket Club are aiming to raise £6,000 to help with the 2021 running costs as the club faces the combination of increased costs and uncertainty about its ability to raise income from its normal means due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Due to circumstances beyond the club’s control, in 2019 we lost the use of one of our two pitches at our main ground. Whilst we have been able to make alternative arrangements, these have significantly increased our running costs due to higher ground maintenance and pitch hire expenses. The Covid-19 restrictions have prevented the club from the usual fund-raising activities to cover these costs and we anticipate similar restrictions in 2021.

With that in mind, we are looking to raise £6,000 between now and April 2022. It is our priority for the club to be good shape financially to ensure we can continue to contribute to our local community and to offer an affordable and accessible cricket to players of all standards.
