Help Us Honour John’s Legacy with a Community Defibrillator
We are raising funds to install a community defibrillator on Wood Street and Kingsley’s Road in Kingswood – in memory of our much-loved neighbour and friend, John.
John sadly passed away after collapsing on the street he loved. He was a warm, familiar presence in our neighbourhood – known for his friendly wave, his cheerful smile, and his willingness to stop for a chat. With his signature Panama hat and camper van, John was truly one of a kind. He loved life, loved people, and gave his time generously through volunteering and community events. He had many friends and was cherished by all who knew him.
John was also an active member of the Kingswood Street Party Association and supported the idea of raising money through our events to purchase a community defibrillator. We are now continuing this effort in his honour.
Installing a defibrillator in our community could help save lives by providing quicker access to vital treatment in an emergency. Every second counts, and your donation – no matter how big or small – brings us closer to making this life-saving equipment available to everyone in the area.
Let’s come together, as John would have loved us to, and create something lasting in his memory.
Thank you so much for your support
