£3000 would enable us to purchase a kiln, wheel and pottery supplies to get going.Kinlochlovin’ is a social enterprise and OSCR registered charity. We aim to provide support, oppotunities and experiences for young people in South Lochaber. In small rural communities there can be limited access to activities and supportive services. Mental health challenges are rising and we aim to provide creative intervention to support our communities in prospering and being more proactive. Currently we have a workshop and a community hub and sustaining our costs is a challenge. We provide free youth groups and more recently play therapy sessions, we are trying to widen our services to the whole community and the demand is clearly there with our art and craft sessions being very popular.
In order to continue the use of both of venues and free services we need a regular sustaiable income. We would like to start a paint your own pottery enterprise as it reflects our creative theme and is currently not available in the area. We hope the income raised from this would sustain our free weekly youth workshops.

About the fundraiser
I helped set up Kinlochlovin’ in 2015, I love working with young people creatively. As a teacher and trainee therapist I see how giving freedom of expression can support all of us in living healthier and happier lives.
