I've raised £5000 to help flood victims of Dhorpatan, Nepal. I am running 200 Kilometer from London 02 Arena to Oxford to raise funds.

On the 2nd of September 2020, weeks of heavy rain in Dhorpatan, Nepal caused a large landslide to block the river Bhuji Khola, which then turned into a massive reservior. The blocked river brust its way out sweeping everyting that stood on its way. Houses, schools, hospitals, roads and livestock all disappeared into the rubble. Up untill 6th Octber, Only 22 bodies have been recovered and 15 are still missing.
The news fo flooding in Dhorpatan, Nepal was devastating, even listening to such news from here in England breaks my heart. To think of all those people who have lost their houses, livelihoods and even their loved ones makes me very sad.
A few Stories form the Survivors,
The adverse impact of the flood has mae the victims' lives distant from normality. Parents have lost their children; children their parents. A 13 year old boy lost both his parents. The boy, still in shock, tells the onlookers that his parents will come back for him. He said, he is only left with few cattle, no food and place to live.
An 18 year old girl recalls how she and her mother grabbed each other's hands as their house and floor began to peel away aganist the baneful torrent. Their instinct was to save eachother, they struggled how not to let their hands part was all she could think of. But you are helpless agains the nature. She said, she watched her mum vanish under the rubble, there are many such heart breaking stories from the survivors.
So, I wanted to do something in any small way that I can do to help the people and situation over there.
For that reason I will be running non stop 200km, over the weekend on the 16th and 17th October, along the Thames Path to raise funds for the victims.
In the past, I have done many charity runs and have raised money for Cancer Research UK, Oxfam Uk and did the 'race4men' running event. This time people in Nepal are desperate for any kind of Donation. They were already struggling with the current pandamic and now on top of that they have had to face such a dreadful disaster. My relatives have lost their loved ones and the pain they are in right now is unbreable. All Donations will directly go to victims.
Nepal is the place of my birth, it is a part of my life, a part of my family's life. It is a part of my heart. Plese Donate to rebuild their lives and dreams.
Thank you very much for your generosity. Your donation truly means so much to both myself personally and, of course, to all the affected victims. Every signle penny donated is very much appreciated.
