Story
Child Africa are a non-profit organisation, since 1991 dedicated to help disadvantaged children in East Africa to enhance their lives through education. With support from sponsors they help hundreds of children in Uganda with food, clothing, medicine, education and sometimes even homes.

Littleover Community School have been working with charity for a number of years now and have been vital in the building of the new school. With the money raised this year they are looking at building a secondary school next to the existing site so the pupils can continue with their education. Being a teacher and an ex-pupil of LCS, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to help. Knowing 100% of the money raised will go towards improving children's education is an exciting and excellent feeling. Please see below images of previous years and the change that has been made.

Gareth Moses from Littleover Community School explained: "ChildAfrica school is a charity school set up to provide education, food, clothing, medication and shelter to the poorest, most vulnerable children in Kabale, Uganda. Littleover Community School set up a link with the charity which sees them fundraise and work at the school every year. For the past 5 years, 33 pupils and 3 members of staff have travelled over to Uganda and spent two weeks setting up and working on projects which help improve and develop the school and its site in order to continue to improve the conditions and amenities available for the children. Every penny of fundraising is fully accounted for and is solely used to pay for the materials required for the variety of projects that are undertaken. "
