Crown Crest have submitted a planning application seeking permission to increase their Warehouse opening times (evenings and weekends) in order to facilitate their ongoing expansion of the Poundstretcher brand. This ultimately means that there will be a significant increase in the amount of HGV traffic in and out of the Crown Crest site (up to 1000+ lorries per day), the majority of which will access the site via Kirby Muxloe village. We therefore need to act quickly, and urgently raise money in order to finance the hire of Professional Planning Consultants, Solicitors, Planning Fees and Placards / Signage, all required to fight an effective challenge to this application.
