Story
Kirk Ireton Bikers tour Derbyshire to promote community shop. On Saturday 22nd September Kirk Ireton Bikers will criss cross Debyshire, calling at as many local community shops as they can find to draw attention to the vital role that their local community shop plays in village life. Transport and local services are vital components of a thriving local community, bringing people together and meeting their basic needs. Last winter villagers had particular cause to be grateful to the shop which continued to open and managed to keep restocking with essentials on days when many locals were not able to make it out of Kirk Ireton. In the warmer days of a hopefully lengthy summer the Kirk Ireton Bikers will be celebrating this vital service and hopefully raising some funds to ensure that it stays well stocked through another winter. Bikers from around Derbyshire are welcome to join us on the day. Please note it may be necessary to stagger start times avoid traffic congestion. Message the group for more details.

Kirk Ireton, Ashbourne, UK
Kirk Ireton Bikers are a group of enthusiasts from Kirk Ireton, Derbyshire. Formed in 2018, Kirk Ireton Bikers enjoy riding motorbikes, talking about motorbikes & tinkering with motorbikes. If at the same time they can draw attention to local good causes then so much the better.
