I thought for my birthday this year I would take a mud bath in the challenge of a Total Warrior event in the Lakes to raise funds for our Veterans.
We are very quick to expect our Armed Forces to put their lives on the line to protect us, it is therefore just as important for us to remember the sacrifice they make in doing so and should support those returning to civilian life when the transition is not so easy.
Hull4Heroes Charity aims to aid Veterans to make the transition back into civilian life and aim to provide accommodation that meets the needs of Veterans through renovations to existing properties and Building new homes, thereby aiding the integration back into our community. Hull4Heroes also aims to assist Veterans with other aspects of support that they require when they leave the service to make their lives more bearable and help them concentrate on healing the wounds both physically and mentally of war.
