I've raised £200 to help get our friend Shimin Shankar & his family back into their home after flooding

Our friend in Kerala has been affected by serious flooding in the area. His family home is under water so they've been evacuated to a local school. There are currently 54,000 people in this situation as half of Kerala is under some level of water.
The full extent of the damage to Shankar's home won't be known until the flood waters subside but what we do know is that he doesn't have any money to rebuild and there is unlikely to be Government help. He works hard as a driver but the flooding means that he can't work and tourism will be hugely impacted so his opportunities to earn money are very limited.
A colleague with an Indian bank account has kindly agreed to transfer any money we can raise directly to our friend. We've sent him £50 today to get him through the next couple of weeks.
A little money goes a long way in Kerala so anything you can contribute to help our lovely friend who looked after us so well when we were in Kerala would be greatly appreciated.
