    Story

This is controversial to post I know. I am 37 years old and a single mother to a 16yr old. I became involved in opiate misuse around 7 years(and 8st in weight)ago. Still haven't figured out why as most addicts are either exposed to drugs or under peer pressure in the earlier stages of life but I am proof that even the most unlikely and "supposedly mature" can fall into addiction.I am in a huge amount of debt, my family hardly speak to me and my quality of life is, although self inflicted, very poor. I am desperate to enter a residential rehabilitation centre. The thought of waking up opiate free and returning to motherhood, routine , good health and employment enabling me to clear debts gathered funding addiction in an honest and legal wayand enjoy life again. I am aware nobody in right mind would trust a drug addict with this kind of money but happy to arrange something where it doesn't come near me and most importantly , to eventually pay the money back whether that be to an individual or just charity in general. Anyone could say it but I can put my hand on heart an honestly say that in contrast to the stereotype of an addict I have never stole from any one person in my life even in darkest moments and in the excruciating pain withdrawal from drugs brings it has never crossed my mind. The only person I've hurt and who's freedom and liberty I have risked during addiction is myself, I think it's important for people to know that no one has suffered criminally due to my actions. Anyone considering helping me can be assured I am a good person with good intentions and have been raised with good manners an morals. I am 99% sure I am about to open myself up to alot of criticism but hope, just hope there is someone out there who understands addiction and is in a financial position to help. I would not waste this chance of generosity and happy to update any donator/sponsor every step of the way.
