Story

I will be taken Part in sober October to raise money for #teamjacko!! 31 days without any drink sounds easy to some ppl but I will put my hands up and say I think I will find it hard! Even my family think I'll struggle so having them say that I will prove everyone wrong and I WILL do it!! And this is why I'm doing it............

My friends son Jackson was diagnosed with cerebral palsy aged 16 months this effects his four limbs and his speech. He is a very happy and ambitious 6 year old. When the time comes and Jackson is to big for walking frames that support him his only option will be a power chair.

Jacqueline's hope is to eventually raise enough money to take him to St Louis Childrens Hospital in Missouri, America for SDR (selective dorsal rhizotomy).

This operation involves cutting nerves in the spinal cord which would take away any tightness in Jackson, he also requires to have muscle lengthening done in a separate operation while out there.

This would let him build real muscle and hopefully get him on his feet even able to stand/walk unaided.
