Hi my name is Kirstie I'm trying to raise funds for my mum so she can travel to Germany to the Infusio clinic for Stem cell treatment. For years she has suffered with symptoms similar to those of MS and has had numerous MRI scans, specialist doctor appointments, blood tests, physio etc etc. All to no avail. Around 3 weeks ago a mark appeared on the under side of her arm what can only be described as looking like a stretch mark. She googled what causes marks and the results came back as Bartonella Lyme's Disease. We came across a private clinic that dealt with Lyme's Disease. At the 1st appointment we were told my mum had the Bartonella strain Lyme's Disease and it seemed from her symptoms it was in her brain. It was a relief to finally have an answer but we had little knowledge of what we were up against. The 1st thing most people do when they want information is 'google it' this was exactly what I did and I was struck with information overload. It frightened me. Lymes disease burys into your cells to evade detection by your bodys defences and can cause symptoms similar to those of MS amongst many other nasty diseases. I am an only child and my mum is not just that but also my sister and best friend. I have to do what I can to help. To my knowledge there is no cure that's 100% effective but stem cell treatment is as close as possible, however it is extremely expensive, around 40,000. Any donation will be greatly appreciated..
