Story
I have been granted the leave from my current two jobs in the UK to spend 4 weeks in Tanzania orphanage to help give children in poverty the care that they require.
My aim is to raise the funds to carry out this program and any funds spare to purchase some luxuries such as clothes or items that they may enjoy and take them over with me.
I am hoping to leave the beginning of January and stay the duration until February. The program involves the everyday running of the children's home, daily chores and activities as well as helping the development of the orphanages facilities, i.e painting/decorating, gardening and upkeep.
I have realized there is more to life than going to work day in, day out and the luxuries in life that we take for granted everyday, that these children may have never even heard off!
This is my opportunity to help the less fortunate so i would appreciate as much help and support from everyone else as i possibly can.
I feel i can give these children the love and affection that they may have never had and help them feel safe in a stable environment considering their circumstances.
Any donation, no matter how little or large would be a great advantage. Not just for me but for them.
Thank you in advance :-) x
