I'm planning to raise money for a mixture of two charities. Due to the recent loss of my papa, I will be donating half of the money raised to Alzheimer Scotland. I have also decided that due to the recent diagnosis of one of my close friends I will be donating the other half to the Lymphoma association. Both of these charities focus on much more than just research. They dedicate a lot of the funds raised to providing a service and supporting people who have been affected, including their families. My fundraising is going to spread out over the next year so there will be plenty more opportunities for anyone to donate- I'll keep everyone updated. The reason I've chosen a year as my time frame is so that i can do something every 3/4 months. I'm aware that people won't be able to continuously donate each month and don't want constant notifications asking to help so my fundraising will be spaced out and will involve different ideas/events for variety.
