Weʼve raised £22,026 to raise money for charity in celebration of Kirsty's life and bravery. Charities will be selected by the family at a later date.

Funded on Tuesday, 5th September 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Kirsty was loved and adored by her family, friends and boyfriend. She was the most outgoing, kind and generous person who loved to help people. Helping people was what she loved to do in her job as a nurse and in her daily life. As she ran towards danger, in an effort to help people on the bridge, Kirsty sadly lost her life. We are so proud of Kirsty’s brave actions which demonstrate how selfless, caring and heroic she was, not only on that night, but throughout all of her life. Kirsty – we love you and we will miss you dearly.

With that in mind, we ask that any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated to celebrate Kirsty's life and bravery. The family will select charities which reflect Kirsty's passions and interests at a later date.

Thank you for taking the time reading & hopefully donating.

      Update from the Page owner

To everyone who has donated, on behalf of Tina, Ken, Chris and me; thank so so much! This is one of the few things to bring a smile to our faces over the past three months, what an overwhelming response - it means a lot 😀

The family have decided on the charities which will receive an equal share of the wonderful donations that you have all kindly raised. The Smith Family - An Australian based children's charity whose goal is to create opportunities for disadvantaged children and their families using education as the key tool. The Blue Cross - A UK based animal welfare charity which provides support for pet owners who cannot afford private veterinary treatment, helps to find homes for unwanted animals, and educates the public in animal welfare. Thank you.
