💚 Rest easy, Tomos Griffiths 💚
It’s with massive sadness (and a noticeable shortage of cheeky grins in the office) that we say goodbye to one of the best — Tomos Griffiths.
From blue lights on the road as a paramedic, to shaping future crews as a Practice Placement Educator in Gloucester, to eventually becoming a key figure in the EOC Clinical Team — Tomos did it all with a warm heart, a kind word, and that unmistakable cheeky smile.
He wasn’t just a Clinical Team Leader — he was a walking morale booster, a human caffeine shot, and the unofficial Chief Encouragement Officer. Whether you were having a meltdown over ProQA or just needed someone to say, “You’ve got this,” Tomos was there — probably with biscuits too.
His passion for patient care, support for the team, and ability to make you laugh even in the chaos of a busy shift made him one of a kind.
The radios are a bit quieter now. The humour’s a bit drier. And there’s a Tomos-shaped gap in the EOC that won’t ever really be filled.
Raise a cuppa (or a headset) in his honour. Rest easy, mate — we’ve got it from here. 💚
We would like to raise some money to support Tomos 2 little girls and appreciate any support you can give.
