Hi, my name is Kirsty and throughout out my life I have known I wanted to help others and help others benefit from things that haven't been given to them but instead out of the kindness others, volunteers who give up their time for people who would be so thankful for the help others can offer, and this is my opportunity to make this come true. My school is offering a chance to go to Tanzania, for £4000, in the summer of 2018, to help local Communities, Re-forestation, Environmental Re-cycling Initiatives, Constructing Homes, Healthcare Services, Clean Water Provision, Wildlife and Environmental conservation, School Improvement, Development of infrastructure, and to give back to those who don't always have, that others take for granted; to give others that opportunities that I've had!

These ordinary children do not have the facilities we have, the things we use on a daily basis and are so readily available to us. They don’t have access to fresh, clean drinking water; some of these people do not even have a roof over their head, or a bed to sleep on a place to call their home. The majority of families living in Tanzania are living off only $1 a day, for their whole family, which is equivalents to 70p; this isn’t even equal to a coffee from Starbucks or a sandwich from Tesco. Children do not have schools to due to there not being one to even attend to, or because they can't afford it, the education that everyone is offered in the UK, could impact a child from Tanzania, learning basic math and English skills allowing them to get a job, changing their life forever. This trip to Tanzania will help to improve the lives of the people living there, build them schools to learn in, homes for them to finally say they feel safe, and somewhere for them to drink fresh water and be normal human beings like you and I. You can be the one to help me change that.
