Story
When my daughter Holly died in 2016, I decided to create a remembrance tree at Christmas, as my way of parenting her and honouring all babies that have been lost in pregnancy or after.
For the past two years, I have asked bereaved parents if they would like to have a ornament hung in their babies name, in return for a donation to charity.
Having our babies honoured publically was so important for me and I was overwhelmed to have the local newspaper and radio cover the story of the tree. Our babies were helping to break the silence surrounding loss.
This year I have decided that I would like donations to go to the charity, 'Beyond Bea'. This charity was set up by Midwife Steph, following the loss of her daughter Bea. The charity provides free bereavement study days to midwives. It is care which is just so fundamentally important.
If you would like a snowflake hung in your babies name then please make a donation of any amount and leave me a message below with the name you would like on the snowflake tag.
Thank you so much for your support.
