Story
Mother, daughter, girlfriend, sister, friend. That's me in the picture with my 4 greatest love affairs; Kieron, 16. Poppy, 12. Johnnie 10 and Connor 7.
This battle I take on in their names, for their futures. One day they will understand how much I love them all.
Diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in December 2007 and Rheumatoid Disease in March 2010.
I've been lucky. Less affected by obvious disability than most. But the brain scans reveal the real truth of destruction this disease has wreaked upon me, will wreak upon me. Oh, there's no hiding from this.
Confession time; I have bladder and bowel problems, sensory disturbances, loss of vision and hearing, balance, dizziness, vertigo, intermittent interruption to full use of my limbs, anxiety, depression, panic attacks. Horrific fatigue Etc!
So, hours and hours of research took me to the UK HSCT Facebook group page. Wow!
So, like you, here I am, determined to beat this bully. Once! And do it right.
I shall be (funds willing) travelling to Mexico 🇲🇽 to be treated with HSCT for MS. I'm not eligible for the treatment I. The UK. By the time it's available to all, it'll be too late for me. 'Time is brain'
