It always baffles me that with the technology available in today's world that there can still be such a great divide between how children get to live their lives in one country to how they live their lives in another. Being a teacher, I see right at the heart of it how a good education can make such a massive difference to the future of a child.

I came across the book bus after a dear friend came back from volunteering with them herself. Through her inspirational words, I knew that this was the place I could make a difference. They are educating children, who otherwise may not have access to books and resources. With up to 70 children in a group, they are always desperate for volunteers as well as packs of books and resources for crafts to help support this need.

I will be visiting the book bus with my mum in South Africa this summer and would love to be able to take over plenty of resources and books. Please could you donate to this cause as much as you can afford. Any donation will help us to make a difference to the lives of these children.
