Story
On the 5th of Nov me and a friend are doing the winter wolf mud run. The run is. 10k. We are raising money my a young friend who has cerebral palsy harry is 11 years old cerebral palsy means that even when he tries hard he finds it difficult to move his body and muscles in a normal way, this makes it difficult for harry to join in with day to day activities such as sitting on his own ,playing without help, telling you what he wants fedding himself or moveing around,
Harry is a happy young boy who has to rely on adults a lot and specialist equipment to be able to do the things.at present harry has a supportive seat, a special bed and a supported bath seat that he uses to allow him to be safe, supported and be able to play or be fed, he has a specialist buggy and at school, an electronic communication aide, as harry gets older and bigger he will require more specialist equipment to help him join in with his friends spend time with his family and keep comfortable.
Some of the specialist equipment with is provided by health, education or social cars services, however his family will have to buy other specialist toys, seating and add to hid buggy, as the equipment harry had to have is so specialist it can be expensive. Therefore his family and friends are trying to raise money through donations and special events so we can give. Harry the opportunity to do more of the activity's of a child of his age would typically be able to do.
