    Story

My name is Kirsty Wightman 28 year old wife with 2 beautiful kids, during my second pregnancy I had terrible sickness, I was exhausted and had really bad back pain after visit's to the hospital while living in Germany nothing was diagnosed, it wasn't until we were posted to Oxford as my Husband is in the Army that I got faced with the awful news that they had found a tumour in my liver, I had already had a scan on my breast in Germany as I found a lump but was told it was pregnancy related!
I was hopeful that it was benign! After a week I had a phone call from doctor asking to come in to go over results. "You have breast cancer Kristy" the doctor told me I couldn't believe it I was in shock. Why me? a few days went by and the pain was unbearable, I had another scan and was told I had to deliver my daughter Kaci at 31 weeks as 1 of the vertebras in my spine collapsed.
when my scan results came back I had more devastating news my cancer had spread stage 4 and incurable!! when I woke from having Kaci I was told she was doing fine and in the high dependency unit, I was desperate to see her! Over the next few weeks I was allowed home it was a hard time with myself going through chemotherapy and dealing with a newborn and a toddler, my family came up from Scotland it was hard when they left. We had few friends that helped but it was struggle for me and my partner, so we managed to get a posting back to Scotland where we are now closer to our family.
Once my chemotherapy was over I was put onto a drug tamoxfine it has worked for 10 months and found out October that it has stopped working, my breast tumour is growing again. After a lot of research I found hopeful successful cases with the same diagnosis that have been cured. The treatment is unavailable on the NHS that’s where I need your help. It’s a costly treatment which I can’t afford, so please if you can help I will be so grateful and appreciate any help you can offer. I’m doing this for my children

I'm over the moon at the amount of money raised and can't thank everyone enough for their kind donations. With all the money raised I'm hoping that this treatment can hopefully give me a cure or help me get thouse further remaining years so I can be around to watch my children grow.
