    Story

I've been accepted to go & work in Nepal for 2months with 'All Hands' (www.hands.org) helping to re-build schools in the local communities. Not only are we providing a place for children to learn but unfortunately it's known for child trafficking in this area, we are also providing a safe place for the children to be during the day. In 2015 the earth quake in Nepal killed thousands of people and destroyed millions of homes and schools.

"All Hands Volunteers is a US-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that addresses the immediate & long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters by engaging and leveraging volunteers, partner organizations & local communities. Our vision is to demonstrate the power & value of volunteer service through the tangible work done, the hope it brings to suffering communities & the transformative experiences it provides for volunteers."

I started this page to help raise funds to go towards flights. now that I've almost raises that target I've set up a separate fundraising page directly towards the organisation. . Every donation helps re-build somebody's life and gives a child the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. ive already been inspired to write a song and you can find it here on YouTube:

It will cost over £1,500 for me to do this trip.
we work 6days a week, here is the schedule for each working day:

0630 - get your gear organized, boots on!
0645 – Gather tools and load up work vehicles
    0700 - Start work
    1130 – Lunch
    1215 - Back to work
    1730 – Mandatory meeting
    1800 - Free time
    2200 - Lights out

my first 5 days have consisted of building 2 walls, plastered a class room ceiling, carrying 50kg bags of dry cement up two flights of stairs and helping with a mega pour of concrete on to a first story floor.
