Story
Kitchen for Everyone York (KEY) is a non profit group run solely by volunteers to provide meals and essentials to the homeless and vulnerable in York.
We currently help between 40 and 60 people each session by providing hearty, nutrional meals, advice and support and signposting to other service providers.
We are trying to raise £5000 to cover the annual rent for the Spurriergate centre where our sessions take place and essential items to provide a 3 course dinner on a Tuesday evening, a full english breakfast on a sunday morning and items required for our Saturday outreach programme. In addition to this we also provide toiletries, clothing, sleeping bags and support in independent living for those in need.
If you‘d like to know more about KEY please check out our website www.kitchenforeveryoneyork.org and our fb page Kitchen for Everyone, York
in addition to crowd funding we are also raising money ourselves by events such as a quiz & meal evening, bag packing, raffles, clothes swapshops and we are planning various other peojects.
Your support really is apprecaited by the all of us at KEY and its essential to allow us to continue doing what we do week in week out.
Thank you ❤️
