Many people who have lived in our great village for years will know Martin Richardson sorry that's probably confused many, l mean Bung, Or if your older than me it's little bung.

Martin has had horrendous luck his problems started about 12 months ago with a small ulcer instead of them signing him off they kept sending him to work. Well Infections set in and he then spent approx 8 weeks in pch being told one thing and them doing another.

After this he was transferred to addenbrokes where he spent another 8 weeks where it was finally decided that they needed to amputate his leg. I'm actually cutting out most of what happened to him as you wouldn't believe how badly treated he's been.

On the day of his operation he was told his blood levels were too high this was put back a couple of days, given another date and this was cancelled as the surgeon had been up all night operating on other people. Finally on the 29th of august he had the operation.

In the meantime his kidneys have failed and now he finds himself on dialysis every other day.

Once they find a bed for him he will be back at PCH. Surgeons have told him he can go back to watch Posh (as if the poor bastard hasn't suffered enough)

And through it all his wife Joan who herself has been poorly has gone from their home in Wittering to visit him everyday.. Anyone knows the A14 and the costs of parking at addenbrokes will tell you that's devotion..

They haven't complained they just got on with it!!!

Now its time for us to help them.. Lets see if we can raise anything becasue anything is better than nothing.
