My mum is 46 and currently has a long term heart condition (Heart Disease) which she takes around 11 different medications for to keep it under control throughout the day,
she had her first heart attack when she was 36 and i was 11 - for the past 10 years things have been difficult as i haven't been able to take her away anywhere exotic in the past due to her heart condition, she has now been signed off from her GP to say she is no longer to be in any employment under any circumstances so she is currently at home everyday whilst im at work throughout the week, also her mobility to get around hasn't been great either as she can only move a couple of steps before she gets heart palpitations - so taking her on holiday has been a struggle to say for the least... However, she has had one suggestion that she says she would always want to do or arrange but has never had the funds to do it with which is to go on a cruise, her GP did say this would be the only option she has as it doesnt require her to be in the air for so long - and i think before things start to get worse, i want to make that dream of hers come true :-)
for that to happen i would love to raise £1000 for her so she is able to go on the cruise she has always been dreaming of!
