We at K&K Brickwork are wanting to raise £3,000 or more for my sister Rebecca, at 24 she was diagnosed with Grade 4 medulloblastoma — an extremely rare and aggressive adult brain cancer, affecting fewer than 1% of brain cancer patients.

Because the cancer was discovered at a life-threatening stage, immediate and intensive treatment was required. This included major brain surgery, followed by harsh chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

While the treatment was necessary, it left Rebecca with permanent side effects, including severe vision problems requiring multiple eye surgeries, mobility issues, chronic pain, internal scarring, and lasting physical weakness.

For the past three years, Rebecca has been living with these challenges while using her savings on physiotherapy, specialist treatments, and essential medical equipment to regain as much independence as possible.

In 2025, the cancer returned. Unfortunately this time, it is terminal.

This fundraiser will help her manage ongoing care costs and create meaningful memories in the time she has.
