I've raised £3000 to help us collect "Tonnes of Tins" on kmfm to deliver to food banks across Kent with the help of UK Harvest.

You have been hearing in the news on kmfm , reading on KentOnline or watching on tv; more people than ever are relying on food banks to get by.
Food poverty is sadly impacting many in Kent, so we have teamed up with UK Harvest to collect as many "Tonnes of Tins" as possible by mid August ready to deliver to local food banks across Kent.
Approximately 2400 420g of beans or a similar food would equate to 1 tonne and we are going to see how many tonnes we can collect and distribute in the 6 week time frame we have!
We are ready to help as many people as possible during this challenging economic time and we will be using our radio shows, social media channels and friends of kmfm we have to deliver BIG! - Rob Wills - Head of Broadcast and Drivetime Presenter
There are 3 ways you can help us with this campaign:
1: Buy tins of food via a supermarket or online store and arrange delivery of them to the kmfm Studios during office hours - for the details click kmfm.co.uk . All of the food delivered will be kept in an air-conditioned room and handed over regularly to UK Harvest.
2: Buy and deliver tins of food to our kmfm Studios duWeng office hours (come and meet the team!) for the details click kmfm.co.uk . All of the food delivered will be kept in an air-conditioned room and handed over regularly to UK Harvest.
3: Donate here and at the end of the 6 weeks we will use the funds raised to purchase as many tins of food as we can before having them delivered to UK Harvest. This is a great way to get involved quickly and easily
The team at UK Harvest will then deliver to food banks across Kent.
You really can make a huge difference from your home/office and if you are in the position to help - we would love your support. Please only donate what you can - the smallest amount will add plenty of tins to our efforts.
