The Kirkby Milers are a friendly and inclusive club, we care about each and every member of our Miler family. When our family and community need us, we do everything we can to help.

At the moment one of our members and his family need our assistance so for the next year we are dedicating all our fundraising efforts to support Mick and his family.

Mick has always been a valued, popular, active and busy member of our club, but he recently suffered a cycling accident which has left him with life changing injuries and now faces massive challenges. He knows it's highly unlikely he will ever walk or feel his legs again, but he is keen to begin rehabilitation and face the new challenges including life in a wheelchair, and we will be side by side with Mick and his family at every stage of building their new life together. They will need lots of adaptations to their family home to ensure they can get Mick home among his family where he belongs.

You have probably seen us at most local events where we have been labelled as Kirkby Smilers due to all of our members being photographed with massive smiles on their faces, those smiles will be evident everywhere as we strive to support Mick and his family, please help us and either donate or why not consider doing some fundraising yourself and share this page as your preferred cause?!
