Knead To Chat was set up two years ago and has been baking in hospital (with patients and staff), and out in the community to improve peoples mental health and well being. Recent events mean a suspension of what we do, but being NHS volunteers we weren't going to let that stop us supporting the fabulous doctors, nurses and staff of Leicestershire Partnership Trust (NHS) based at Glenfield Hospital. In less than 24 hrs we went from concept, proposal, risk assessment, sourcing of equipment, and delivery of a pop up community kitchen which is now serving freshly made soup, bread, pizza etc to between 60-100 NHS staff a day.

Some of the ingredient have been donated but the rest we have to buy. It costs less than a £1 to provide a hot meal, and we would like to raise money to provide food free of charge to our NHS colleagues.
