Story
Help us raise money to sponsor Dave, Running 10km in Bangor for Knitted Knockers of Northern Ireland
“Sorry to trouble you but Leanne sent your number to my wife. My name’s Dave and I would just like to say thank you for allowing me to run for your charity at the Bangor 10k. I know just what a lot of women you help have gone through as I lost my mum when I was just 15 to Breast Cancer. I think what you are doing is truly amazing, so if I can help raise any amount of money and wear your t.shirt, it would be a real honour to do so. I am hoping to run a few more events in the future so if you would like your very own runner I’d be happy to do it. Regards, Dave.”
Knitted Knockers of Northern Ireland provide FREE Hand-made Breast Prosthetics to women who have had mastectomy surgery. We supply hospitals, GP surgeries, bra shops and we also fulfill personal orders. The Knitted Knocker is made of 100% cotton and can be worn in all bras - not just mastectomy bras. We also provide a Swimming Knocker which is crocheted with Acrylic wool and is stuffed with a scrunchie so that it's waterproof. Knitted Knockers will always be supplied free to everyone who needs them.
