Story

Helping Hands is a Food Bank run at Renewal Church. Helping Hands supports clients in emergency situations, to temporarily cover them in their times of need.

The Centre receives referrals from over 70+ referrers. They work closely with local donors as well as supermarkets and the council to try and reduce food poverty in the Solihull Borough.

Ahead of Christmas, with the soaring cost of living, the need for the essential products as well as toiletries is high and your kind donations are highly appreciated. So far, with our members' continuing support, we have been able to raise £500 which have been spent for items in need such as jars of jam, tinned tuna and vegetables, cereals, tea bags, cooking oil, rice, pasta, etc.

The more we raise the more families we can help. The food bank collection will take place in the premises of Knowle Centre for Freemasonry on 12 November, between 11 am and 2 pm. We are aware that some members will attend the Remembrance Service in the morning and it may not be possible for everyone to visit Knowle. That's fine. You can still help...

We won't move any product in the building until 5 pm on Monday, 14 November 2022. Every penny will be used...

Thank you
