    Story

Basically I am planning to go to South Africa to help as a Wildlife Volunteer at an organisation called Care for Wild. Care for Wild is a wildlife rehabilitation center that specializes in Rhino rescue and rehabilitation. The need for a center like this is the result of a rise in poaching over the recent years, Figures for rhinos killed in 2014 in South Africa are estimated between 1020 - 1120 and many of the killed rhinos are leaving behind orphaned calve.

The fees for this trip are around 4 thousand pounds, but i plan to pay for the majority myself. The Money paid will contribute to many aspects, these are; 15-20% towards flights, and travel, 20-25% towards in-country and UK admin and support, as well as contributions for worthwhile causes within Africa that ACE help to promote, 50-60% goes towards the project fees, accommodation and meals, as well as a donation towards the project (which is what this money raised will go towards as the animals is what this is all about).

Care for Wild rely heavily on Volunteer work and support to continue what they do, so my in country work is vital and will contribute massively towards conservation and have a positive effect on the rapidly decreasing Rhino population.

Conservation is a massive issue and really important to me, i feel that it is so important and more needs to be done to sustain this planet. I want to give back to the world and do my part.

Hi I'm Kodie, I'm fundraising for a conservation volunteer trip. I love animals with a passion, so am perusing my dream and volunteering in Africa to help rehabilitate Rhinos and other wildlife animals. This project is really important to me and I would love your help.
