Story

On the 16th of august our world fell apart, my youngest nephew Kody aged 2 was diagnosed with leukaemia it came as complete shock to us all as a family but the parents my sister Carly and partner Jamie it was devastating news as they only took Kody to A&E for antibiotics thinking the pain Kody was having was due to a dental problem to be told their boy has a type called acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, after countless blood transfusions, chemo and needles I think it's time Kody gets to be a normal 2 year old boy and play toys, eat junk food as his weight as dropped and generally having messy time.. his big brother who is 6 years old has found it difficult to come to terms with even tho he doesn't understand what cancer is he knows his brother is really ill and can't come out of the hospital for a while now, he misses his mum, dad and brother so much I think it's time they had a day out as a family when Kody is strong enough to be allowed off the ward. The money raised will help mum and dad with hospital cost as they both do not work it's proven to be very expensive my sister needs all the love and support she can get as this has devastated her, as they had only just moved house on the 10th july they havnt yet had time to get their house decorated as kody was having so much pain it was a battle they was up and all night and day not knowing the actual cause for kodys pain they have no time to finish the house off which all will need to be done to allow kody the best safety when he returns home. I thank you now for all that is given, I'm sure I'll be seeing my 2 nephews smiling together again soon with lots of new toys to play with.
