Story

Have you ever decided to stay at home because it looks like it'll rain? For the congregation of this church in Tanzania they have to schedule their services around the weather, which may mean no services during the rainy season. Nyakabanga TAG church is on Kome island in lake Victoria, Tanzania. They have a faithful congregation who have already managed to make the bricks, build the foundations and walls and buy the timber for the roof. The metal sheets and nails are the last thing that need to be bought, which is a massive cost for the small church. We are working with the church to bring health education to the community and this building will also be the hub of training events and group discussions in the community.
When it rains, no-one can meet for church services or other meetings. When it's sunny the congregation hide in what shade there is. Please help raise the money for the last stage of the roof. Any money raised in excess will go to bless one of the other 3 sister churches on the island with similar constructions.
