Story
I'm a PhD student who would like to be a part of the London Fashion Tech Festival running from the 11th of Sept to the 14th of September. The cost of an early bird ticket for the 4day event is £99.99.
I have decided that I would benefit best by attending a 2 hour event: Smart Materials that would allow me get close and personal with founders of CuteCircuit. CuitCircuit is a line of electronic fashion that I have been drawing inspiration from.
It would be a HUGE opportunity to ask questions, discuss the future of wearables and even a possible collaboration. If this crowdfund is successful, I would be happy to take questions prior to the event and blog about it after.
(If they allow, I could also periscope live the talks)
My long-term goals include starting a branding of wearables/efashion where I can collaborate science, technology and art. I hope to do this by designing and making unique wearables and also to create an information hub/e-magazine uniquely for wearable technology.
