Story

Thank you all in advance for all support The funds are raised for Marysia Szlązak. Back in April Marysia showed her mum, she feels the pain just above the chest. Then she started to vomit every second day & was checked in hospital for further examination. The MRI showed tumour on the cerebellum. Histological examination showed that Marysia’s tumour is a medulloblastoma – a germinal nucleus – a cancer with a high level of malignancy.

At the moment Marysia cannot walk, got speech and sight problems. Number of complications lead to many surgeries she went through so far which already had massive impact on 3 year old body.

The hospital in Rome Bambino Gesu has accepted Marysia’s admission and is ready to start the treatment including high dose chemotherapy cycles as needed, autologous bone marrow transplant. The hospital is one of not many in Europe offering such treatment to children in in health condition like Marysia’s.

The amount of funds that needs to be raised covers the stay in the hospital for over 5 months, accommodation for on parent and transition to hospital from airport in Rome.

Once again, thank you all for your support. Even one penny counts in this battle, lets fight together to give Marysia opportunity for normal life of 3 year old little girl. Read the full story about Marysia: http://kotekmarysi.pl. http://kotekmarysi.pl/english/
