1 in 3 children are living in poverty in the UK. Their families or carers may not be able to afford to buy them gifts this Christmas and every child deserves to open a present on Christmas day.

I was inspired by my friend, Chris LeBlanc over in the US. Every year for the past 8 years, Chris LeBlanc collects money from friends and family. With all the donations, he then rallies together a team of willing participants who brave the crazy winter temperatures and snowfall of the tundra that is Minneapolis and they bike to independent toy stores, buying Christmas presents to drop off at a local homeless shelter. The ride was later named 'KRAMPUS'. In 2014, we bought Krampus to the UK!

Krampus UK ride is happening on Saturday, December 10th A team of Krampus riders will bike from Westbourne to Christchurch, stopping at toy stores along the route to spend the donations on kids toys. We then drop off at a Wave 105 Mission Christmas drop off point. The Wave 105 team then collect the toys and distribute to kids in poverty in time for Christmas day. 100% of the donations we receive will be spent on gifts for the children. We will shop at independent toy stores as it is important to us that we are supporting local businesses on our mission as well.

Last year we received nearly £1500 in donations and a team of 26 Krampus riders purchased 263 christmas presents for kids in poverty! Lets try and beat that this year!
