Update 21st March 2022. We smashed the original £1000 target within 3 days! So we've increased the target to £2000, this will to go towards aid supplies and the next trip. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated so far.

A humanitarian crisis is happening on our doorstep. With the help of our friends and colleagues, we are collecting essential supplies for the Ukrainian refugees. We intend to load a van and drive it to the Ukrainian/Polish border. It is our intention to bypass all the bureaucracy and red tape and deliver what is needed, directly to the people that need it.

We are looking for help with the cost of van hire, fuel, and the ferry tickets. Any surplus cash will be used to fund further trips/buy more supplies. Receipts will be published online and available for audit. 100% of donations will go towards getting what is needed to the people that need it.

We will be leaving work at Preston on Friday 08/04/22 before calling at Doncaster, then Scunthorpe and then on to Folkestone, Calais and into Europe.

18/03/2022 Update: We're finding it difficult to obtain a hire van without paying a small fortune in insurance. We want as much as possible to go towards the aid. So I'm going to take my VW T5 instead. Although it's smaller than we would like, we will save a considerable amount on van hire and on the channel crossing. Because of the what's happening with P&0 ferries at the minute, we've decided to go via Euro Tunnel.
