Weʼve raised £9,268 to Help PC Kris Aves continue with rehabilitation care after being struck in the 2017 Westminster terror attack

    London, UK
Funded on Saturday, 30th June 2018

    Story

On 22 March 2017 a terrorist attack took place in the vicinity of the Palace of Westminster in London where a large car was driven into pedestrians on the pavement along the south side of Westminster Bridge and Bridge Street, injuring more than 50 people, five of them fatally.

Pc Kris Aves was one of these and has been rebuilding his life since that day, Kris has now returned home but has a very long road ahead of him to be able to do simple day to day tasks on his own. His rehabilitation and physiotherapy are vital parts of this process and although the NHS do provide some its not enough to make his recovery quick enough.

Kris is a very humble guy and doesn’t like asking for money so i am doing it on his behalf, if you can spare something however small it will go a long way to helping him get back to a normal standard of life.

    Thank you in advance

Amazing response so far, thank you all so much for giving to Kris. I met him late last week and he is so thankful at your generosity. He is planning to purchase some equipment to try and help reduce the pain and to assist with some mobility. Thanks again Luke

I pray you continue to improve and feel what a needless thing to happen. Too many evil people in this world who practise hatred rather than love. I send all my love to you and your family.

I have been best mates with Kris for over 15 years and he is one of the nicest guys going who had his life turned upside down by the actions of another. He needs help financially to be able to receive the care he needs to try and lead a normal life.
