BATTLE OF THE BADGE BOXING TOURNAMENT

We are Firefighters and Police Officers from Humberside participating in a charity boxing event which will raise money for 3 causes. These 3 are Cash For Kids, Macmillan Cancer Support and a local boy Tyler Knight. Tyler has a condition called neurofibromatosis type 1 which causes tumours to grow along the nerves. A consequence of this has led to Tyler losing sight in his left eye. He has endured 4 years of chemotherapy to help prevent him losing sight in his right eye. Tyler also has autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and a shortening of the left leg causing him to have problems with his balance. With the money raised, we would like to send him and his family on a dream holiday to Centre Parcs should his health permit. In the meantime, Firefighters from Humberside are doing a garden SOS so that it will be a purpose built environment for him to enjoy. Please donate to this worthwhile event. There will be a lot of pride at stake and blood, sweat and tears have gone into training for this event to be a spectacle.
