This year I hit the BIG 30 and like us all I want it to be one to remember! So amongst all the celebrating , which we all know I love so very much, I have decided to do something that will really make this year one to remember! I have set myself some challenges, some big and some small, but all of which will both physically and mentally challenge me, as well as see me face my fears and force me out of my comfort zone! All the money i raise throughout the year will go directly to Silkworth Lodge, a charity very close to my heart!

After watching my Dad battle his addiction with alcohol for many years, Silkworth helped him to get his life back and find the strength to finally say ‘NO’ to the demon drink! The work they did with him was outstanding and I can’t even begin to describe how above and beyond they go to help addicts and their loved ones everyday. This needs to continue so that other addicts and their families can get the support so very much needed at such a difficult time. Silkworth lodge supported us both through a seriously tough time and I can’t thank them enough! They gave me my Dad back which i didnt think was even possible anymore💙

Addiction is something that seems to surround so many of us, unfortunately not everyones story has the same happy ending as My dads, but again this is where the fantastic and dedicated team at Silkworth offer their services and can work with families and loved ones who have lost someone to addiction.

So troops your support with this will mean so much to me, not do I just need you to dig deep.... Very Deep into those pockets, but I need your emotional support with this to.
