Over 13+ years ago I had a partner, a well paid job, my own place. In one short year it all came tumbling down. I split up with my partner, left my job, was dealing with so many things that I had a nervous breakdown and attempted to hurt myself.
Now I am in a much better place with the support of family, friends and some excellent mental health professionals. I'm in a job I love in the NHS giving back to the local community and whilst I can have good days and bad days I am much better equipped to deal with them.
Every day I hear more and more stories of adults of all ages struggling to deal with their mental health so I am strapping on my trainers and raising awareness of this invaluable cause Mind. I am sure that we know many other adults who have mental health issues in our lives. I hope that you will support this cause.

Going well so far. 5 days in and it's amazing how many people are supportive of my walking lots of offers to go around the park together? Also many more people opening up about their own mental health struggles over the years. Again, I always recommend speaking to a professional as well as letting your friends and family know.
