DstinationGhana was founded and co founded by Mr Kwabena Ofori and Mr Edem Ghanney respectively both originally from Ghana currently resident in the U.K and Ghana respectively.

We come from a community where there is a huge gap between the rich and the poor and access to education is not guaranteed for every kid even though its a legal right under Ghana's 1992 constitution and also rated very high on the UN's SDG programme at number 4.

The government both past and present have done a lot to bridge the gap. Unfortunately , not every kid in Ghana is privileged sit on a desk to read and write. The classroom floor is definitely not an option in our books either but that happens to be the only means of studying for some kids in Ghana.

We want to help change that !

That is why Dstination_Ghana is calling on you to help make a lasting difference in the lives of these kids by donating to provide free tables and chairs.

We believe education reduces inequalities , breaks the cycle of poverty and empowers people to live healthier lives and be positive ambassadors of society. Having this experience on a comfortable desk would positively impact these children's lives.

and so we intend to buy 220 desks with £10,000 pounds and put smiles back on these children's faces.

Two Schools were identified for this project - one in a village called Kalvio, Upper East Region of Ghana and the other in the newJuabeng South district of Ghana :
