I've raised £15000 to #Help Cycling Raise Awareness of HIV/AIDS across Africa By Bantu Ubuntu Project

Hello and a BIG hug to everyone.
I lost my mother when I was seven years old because of HIV/AIDS. My mother said, “help those who needs help and you will get help in front” that was the gift she left in my heart. This quote from my mother was my inspiration for my idea - to cycle miles across Africa and raise awareness and take action on HIV / AIDS.
I would like to create change by cycling 24000km from Rwanda to Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Lesotho, south Africa. In each country I will spend one week in 3 difference schools. Next I plan to pedal from south Africa to West Africa until northern Sahara and each country I will do the same routine.I hope people will be insipired to see solo man on the road who has a dream to enable people to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS.
How I will use this donations:
15% will cover posters, artwork, printing books and creating wall art, 45% will cover organising free tests for people – each test will cost £3 and I expect to test 2000 people, 40% will cover the costs of pushing me forward from one country to another. I will need £7 per day to cover living expenses, visas and travel, I plan to be on the road for 19 months. I will also create choreography and storytelling in each school about HIV / AIDS and this will incur no cost as it is something I want to give to this cause free from my own heart. I will document my journey and share this with my backers.
As I grew up I asked myself why I came on a planet which has this disease. I believe Bantu Ubuntu cycling will bring positive change in villages and schools. Awareness is everything! I want to create posters to hang around schools to educate my peers about the global impact of HIV and AIDS.
There is a widely held misconception and a lack of information about infection, transmission and protection against HIV/AIDS. This puts Africa at great risk of seeing a spread of the disease and an increase in poverty. The adult HIV/AIDS prevalence rate according to official statistics is considerably lower than that of Sub-Saharan Africa, but experts say the problem could be explosive. Governmental efforts to hinder a potential epidemic are limited as well as the number of civil society organizations working with the HIV/AIDS issue. Taboos surround the issue which restricts people from acquiring sufficient and correct knowledge about the disease, and causes people living with HIV/AIDS to be stigmatized and excluded from society.
No one ever become poor by giving.
Do what you can to support this project and help me make a change in the world.
Thank you.
